THEN STOP TRYING TO BE HIM!!!!
I apologize for those who read this rant and are part of the choir...let me explain, for extra credit my teacher let us go to a womans rights speaker if we took notes and did a response picture for it. And I knew that I wasn't going to agree with everything, but I thought: "What the hey, it will be a learning experience!" So I went.
...
I'm very miffed now.
It's not that I don't think that women shouldn't have rights, on the contrary! I think women should be treated equally to men! But at the same time what's so wrong with being a woman? Let's face it, girls, in case you haven't noticed men LOVE us! Most women don't realize the power we hold over them! We control their self esteem, their love-and-or-lust and lets face it. They could NEVER run a family like we can. Our brains do so much more then theirs! It's just how we're wired.
Well tonight after the lady had finished speaking they said whoever had questions just give a shout. A lady stood up and said:
"Well I'm a mother of three and was very excited about it...but have I been duped?"
Her response was: "Well I'm not sure duped is the word, but men should play the bigger part in parenting."
Me: 0.0
Excuse me?
Did you just seriously say that women should be the ones providing and leaving the men at home to cook and clean? And does that imply that women are mothers simply because they just haven't realized what potential they have? And does THAT imply that women who enjoy mothering are suckers who are incapable of holding a job?
Please note this woman is single and has NO children.
Any mother will tell you raising a child is the hardest job you will EVER do. There's no pay, no vacations, you work 24-7, are thanked only once a year (mothers day), and NO one trains you for the position. I'm not sure about you but doesn't that seem like the job of a lifetime? Anyone who can do that has amazing skill, strength, stamina and courage...and how often do we remember that?
I am not saying that men have no responsibilities when it comes to raising a family. In fact they share a tremendous amount of it when it comes to working for your family so you can provide a proper house, food, education and what ever else the government decides to tax us on. But that is what men do, that is how they are wired! Us? We're wired to help and take care of people. Why do you think we talk so much? It's just who we are.
So why the subject title? Want to meet the man of your dreams? Then stop being the man! Be the best WOMAN you can be, doing things only WOMAN can do! The men of today are whips and pansies because we took their job ladies! Look at them. How many "nice guys" have you dated? There's tons out there, but why don't we ever marry them? Because they are being the woman in the relationship. They're caring and understanding and always are there to boost your moral, but when it comes to it can you trust them to provide for you? Of coarse not. So you move on.
I learned this the hard way. For years I would never let any guy do anything for me. I paid for all my meals and tickets, opened my own doors and walked myself out to the car. I never gave a guy the chance to be a guy for me. It wasn't until I read a few books that I started to realize that it was okay to let guys do things for me. They weren't insulting me, they truly wanted to do something nice for me. Thankfully I learned this before I met my man. <3
So you really want to meet a guy who will really take care of you? Let him take care of you. Thats what guys do! And in return remind them how important they are to you. Don't abuse the power of his approval against him. He may not act like it hurts but it really does hurt them! Be good to them, and they will love you ladies.
And if they don't? Their not worth it. If a man EVER mistreats you, you drop them like lava rock and hightail it out of there. No one that loves you will EVER mistreat you.
There was a lot more she brought up that I won't get into. I just...don't understand these women. It's...it's just sad. And annoying. Mostly annoying.
Alright, I'm done. I apologize again, I just...needed to get it out.
